The Lazarette

About The Lazarette

The lazarette structure was an add on to the kitchen/Cup and Bucket Inn area and connects to the kitchen by an interior passageway entry or can be accessed via the hall or door to the back of the structure. This latticed addition likely got its nautical name from Hallock Moseley who served in the Navy and Merchant Marines. The name means storage locker or equipment store area that a sailor would use to stow gear on a sailing vessel.
