Tampa Bay History Center Collaboration

The Digital Heritage and Humanities Collections at the University of South Florida Libraries in partnership with the Tampa Bay History Center, is using the latest in digital and mapping technologies to create a virtual presentation of objects, architecture, and museum exhibitions.The DHHC is collaborating with the TBHC to bring the past to life in new ways by connecting collections of important maps, historical images, documents, objects, and places through the use of 3D laser scanning, advanced imaging, and GIS strategies. Explore the variety of digital heritage and museum collection projects we are working on – from 3D documentation of our collections and exhibitions at TBHC, to new projects that will incorporate immersive and interactive digitization of Tampa’s architecture and cultural resources.
