The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature Collaboration

This museum digital collection program is part of a new research project between the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature (formerly known as the South Florida Museum) and the University of South Florida Libraries (Drs. Lori Collins and Travis Doering, USF PIs, and Matthew D. Woodside, Chief Curator & Director of Exhibitions). Together we are working to digitize important collections from around the world including the significant Florida Montague Tallant collection. This 3D archive will ensure wider accessibility, improve engagement and education opportunities, and facilitate conservation and digital preservation of materials in the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature collections.
