It’s been nearly three years since wooden stabilizers were installed to shore up the historic Jackson House, downtown Tampa’s rooming house for visiting African-American celebrities during an era of segregation. Tampa Bay Times reporter Paul Guzzo covers the 3D laser scanning and imaging work being done by researchers with USF’s Digital Heritage and Humanities Collections, and looks at the current conditions and digital preservation efforts underway.
