Nov 23, 2018 | Press

Research Associate Professor and co-Director of the Digital Heritage and Humanities Collections in the USF Libraries, Dr. Lori Collins is featured at a live recording of National Public Radio’s Science Friday. SciFri was taped in Tampa at the historic Tampa Theatre, and included a one-on-one interview with Collins and host Ira Flatow, discussing new ways that 3D is allowing for exploration, discovery, access, and learning. Using case studies from DHHC projects, Collins shares how her team is documenting important museum artifacts like the Key Marco Cat, significant landscapes like the Apollo 1 Memorial and our nation’s space history, and responding to disaster impacts and recovery needs.
